Open a book and point without looking at somewhere on the page. Look at the word that your finger is pointing to and try to use that word to generate ideas for your problem. The Random Picture Strategy

Re-stating the problem can often lead to new ideas. It will enable you to look at the problem from new angles and generate new ideas.
